– Lifeline Family Hospital Card: Emergency Care Initiative


Registration & Card Issuance


Registration for the Lifeline Family Hospital Card is completely free of cost. A registered individual may enroll eligible family members under the same card at the time of registration or as permitted by hospital policy.


Eligibility


Free basic emergency medical care is available only to registered Lifeline Family Hospital Card holders and their registered family members.


Scope of Emergency Care


This initiative provides free basic emergency medical care solely for the purpose of patient stabilization, as determined by the attending emergency physician.

After initial stabilization, the patient may choose to shift to another healthcare facility, or further evaluation, treatment, investigations, procedures, or admission—if required—may be continued at Lifeline Family Hospital on a chargeable basis as per hospital policy.


Exclusion of Medico-Legal Cases (MLC)


This facility is not applicable to medico-legal cases, including but not limited to:

  • Road traffic accidents
  • Assault or injuries due to violence
  • Poisoning, burns, or self-harm
  • Any case requiring police intimation or legal documentation

Hospital Discretion


Lifeline Family Hospital reserves the right to determine eligibility, the extent of stabilization care, and the continuation or discontinuation of services under this initiative based on clinical judgment, availability of resources, or misuse of the benefit.


Non-Transferability


The Lifeline Family Hospital Card is non-transferable and may be used only by the registered cardholder and listed family members.


Changes to Terms & Conditions


Lifeline Family Hospital reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw this initiative or its terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.


Final Authority


In the event of any dispute, the decision of Lifeline Family Hospital management shall be final and binding.
